Rockford, Michigan

The city of Rockford, located near the Rogue River, boasts an abundance of amenities, including beautiful scenery, the Rockford Dam, a farmer’s market downtown in the summers and residents also enjoy attending the Fall Harvest Festival. Shopping, good restaurants and lovely parks can be found city wide. The historic White Pine Trail runs through the downtown area to the Rogue River and Rockford Dam. The city is rich in history, with the Rockford Historical Society hosting events throughout the year. The city was incorporated June of 1866.

Grand Rapids, Michigan

The city of Grand Rapids is located approximately 25 miles east of Lake Michigan and is located on the Grand River. Grand Rapids, the second largest city in Michigan and is the county seat of Kent County. A historic manufacturing center for furniture making, the Grand Rapids area is home to five of the worlds’ leading makers of office furniture.

The city and surrounding communities are economically diverse, spanning industries such as health care, information technology, automative, aviation and consumer goods. A great place to raise families and start businesses, Grand Rapids is the largest city in West Michigan.

East Grand Rapids

East Grand Rapids is popular for its small town feel in the middle of a busy metropolitan area. The city is known for its abundant parks as well as proximity to Reeds Lake and all the wonderful amenities surrounding this body of water, considered to be the jewel of Kent County. Boating, kayaking, picnics, jogging and walking are favorite pastimes for the region. The city boasts safe neighborhoods and great schools and is a great place to raise a family or start a business. The city was first settled in the early 1830’s by the Reed family from New York City.

This quaint little village has a charm and a warm vibe. It features fine homes with a rural residential feel, offering river vistas, rolling meadows and wooded areas. Ada Township offers an abundance of nature, including several hundred acres of public land, lots of waterways and parks. The Ada Farmer’s Market is popular and award winning. Ada Township offers premier schools for families, as well as unique eateries, art galleries and other amenities. A great place to call home, Ada Township’s real estate market is complex.
